The female tarpons will release up to 12 million eggs at a time. Once the eggs are fertilized, they float on top of the water.&nbsp;The eggs look like transparent ribbons, which make it difficult for predators to notice. The eggs will absorb the nutrients in the water through the skin.&nbsp;After hatching, they enter the juvenile stage, remaining in the shallow water until they have developed into an adult.&nbsp;

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Shiva and their crew hit the river with us this winter morning under partly cloudy skies. The four anglers were ready to get after it, and the conditions looked promising for a solid day of fishing. We launched early morning with high hopes and the weather cooperating nicely throughout the day.

Once the stage was set, we worked the water using fly fishing, drift fishing, and spin casting to target multiple species. The crew connected with Crevalle Jack, Black Drum, Peacock Bass, and Redfish during our time on the water.
