One for the books today! Sumi and their crew joined us for an early morning winter trip on the river. We started at 8:00 am with clear skies that turned cloudy as the afternoon rolled in. The water conditions were perfect for what we had planned, and these four anglers were ready to get after it.
With our gear rigged and ready, we worked the river using fly fishing, drift fishing, and spinner fishing techniques. The crew landed some solid Peacock Bass, Redfish, and Crevalle Jack throughout the day. We also hooked into a Bonnethead Shark and Black Drum which kept things interesting. River fishing really shines when you can mix up your techniques like this - the variety of structure and current breaks give you options to target different species. We wrapped up the trip with great catches and smiles all around!
If you're thinking about getting out on the river for some quality fishing action, this is exactly what our Trout Fishing trips are all about. We know these waters inside and out, and mixing fly fishing with drift and spinner techniques gives you the best shot at multiple species. Whether you're after bass, redfish, or whatever's biting, we've got the experience to put you on fish. The winter months can be some of the most productive times to get out there, and with our local knowledge of the river systems, we'll work the spots that are holding fish. Give us a call and let's get you set up for your next fishing adventure - the river's waiting and the fish are biting!
