Non-stop bites all day long! Thenna and their crew joined us for an awesome winter backcountry fishing adventure starting early morning. The partly cloudy skies with early morning snow made for interesting conditions, but these folks sure knew how to make the most of it. We had 4 anglers ready to work the backcountry waters, and what a day it turned out to be!
Once the stage was set, we got right into the action with our backcountry approach. Thenna and their crew landed some smoking fish including Peacock Bass, Bonnethead Shark, Black Drum, Redfish, and Crevalle Jack. The backcountry fishing really delivered the goods, giving us access to multiple species in one trip. We wrapped up with great catches and smiles all around!
The variety we found shows exactly why backcountry fishing produces such consistent results. When you can target everything from Peacock Bass to Bonnethead Sharks in the same outing, you know you're in the right spots. Thanks Thenna for coming out - always a great time when the fish cooperate like that!
If you're thinking about experiencing this kind of backcountry fishing action, our Sunset Cruise Tour offers the perfect opportunity to get out there and find these same species. We work the backcountry waters where Peacock Bass, Redfish, Black Drum, and even Bonnethead Sharks cruise the shallows. Whether you're after the hard-fighting Crevalle Jack or hoping to land your first Peacock Bass, the backcountry holds incredible variety. Book your trip and come see what all the excitement is about - these winter months can produce some fantastic fishing when you know where to look!
