The female tarpons will release up to 12 million eggs at a time. Once the eggs are fertilized, they float on top of the water.&nbsp;The eggs look like transparent ribbons, which make it difficult for predators to notice. The eggs will absorb the nutrients in the water through the skin.&nbsp;After hatching, they enter the juvenile stage, remaining in the shallow water until they have developed into an adult.&nbsp;

Today was a great day out on the water with Pooja for a Scuba Diving adventure with Pikit. April in Tampa is a prime time for water sports, with warm weather and ideal diving conditions. We met up at the Tampa Marina and got geared up, excited to explore the underwater world.
Once we were suited up and ready to go, we headed out to a few different dive spots, taking advantage of the variety of techniques and equipment Pikit offers. The visibility was excellent, and we spotted all kinds of interesting marine life swimming around. Pooja was a natural in the water, gliding gracefully and keeping a keen eye out for any interesting sights.
Though we didn't manage to spot any big game fish, we had a fantastic time simply soaking in the beauty of the underwater landscape. Between dives, we'd surface and chat about what we'd seen, the thrill of swimming alongside the sea creatures never getting old.
